Improved

Broadcast screen selection is now remembered properly: Crown Cast picks a sensible screen the first time instead of guessing wrong, saves whichever screen you choose — including one picked from the "display unavailable" prompt — and recognizes your screens again after a reboot or cable swap, so it no longer asks which screen to use on every verse.
Audio and video are now treated as one program output: starting a projected video stops the music, and starting music clears the projected video, so sound never overlaps and only one ON AIR / STANDBY bar shows at a time.

Fixed

Prevented a data-loss bug where imported videos, music and large images silently disappeared from the Media tab after closing the app. Uploaded media is now stored in a permanent media library on the computer and loads back complete on the next start — in the main window, projector, preview and broadcast alike, with video and audio seeking intact. Removing media also deletes its file, so the library never fills up with leftovers.
Broadcast Stop and Pause now work reliably: a paused or blacked-out verse no longer reappears on its own, Stop fully clears the last verse so it doesn't come back when the broadcast screen is reopened, Pause is available again after an app restart, and broadcasts started from the phone remote can now be stopped and paused from the main window.
Restoring a backup no longer hides media or loses music: backups (and factory reset) now cover your image and video folders and the audio track list, and media from older backups whose folder is missing is moved back to the main view instead of becoming invisible.
Mini-player bars no longer "double stack": the audio, video and Bible bars now sit flush together with no gap between them, and the video play button uses the video player's own colors instead of the audio player's.

Added

New Blackout button at the top of the control bar instantly sends the projector to a clean black screen. Unlike Pause Projector it stays available even before anything has been projected, so you can hold a black background between items.
A global video player now controls the projected video from any tab, mirroring the audio mini-player — ON AIR / STANDBY status, a scrub bar, play/pause, loop, next/previous and stop — without having to return to the Media tab.
Smart display fallback: if a projector or broadcast screen assigned in Settings is switched off, Crown Cast now asks whether to show the output on another connected screen or wait for the assigned one, and automatically moves it back the moment that screen reconnects, so output never lands silently on the wrong display.
Keyboard shortcuts help: press ? anywhere (or choose "Keyboard Shortcuts" in the command palette) for a bilingual cheat sheet of every global and projector shortcut. Ctrl/Cmd + 1–8 now jumps between sections.
Undo for the queue: removing an item or clearing the queue now shows an Undo toast — single items return to their original position and a cleared queue is restored in full.
Operating-system media controls: the audio player now appears in your OS media overlay, and hardware play/pause/next/previous media keys control playback.
Command-palette recents and a live service clock: your last 8 actions appear under a "Recent" header for one-tap reuse, and the sidebar now shows the current time.

Improved

Videos in the Media tab now have their own 2GB limit (previously a shared 500MB cap) so full-length videos import without being wrongly rejected, and .m4v and .mkv files are now supported.
When a non-looping video reaches its end, the projector now stops and goes cleanly to black instead of freezing on the final frame.
Faster Bible and hymn browsing — long chapters such as Psalm 119 stay smooth, "in queue" badges are computed instantly, and the command palette loads content once per open instead of on every keystroke.
Modernized notifications (stacking toasts with hover-to-pause and duplicate coalescing) and made dialogs, the command palette and sidebar fully keyboard- and screen-reader accessible.
Hardened the remote-control and PowerPoint export paths and tightened link handling for safer operation.
The sidebar version number is now always accurate, and the last native OS pop-up (queue import replace) has been replaced with the app's themed dialog.

Fixed

Prevented a data-loss bug where the active service queue and projector settings could silently disappear after a period of time.
Audio: music no longer keeps playing after a track is deleted or the playlist is switched; shuffle with repeat off now stops at the last track; "Play Next" inserts in the right place; and audio files chosen in the media picker are no longer misfiled as videos.
The hymn "in queue" badge now highlights the correct hymns instead of the wrong ones.
Dragging an announcement slide now reorders it instead of creating a duplicate.
Queue planner: Move Up/Down and drag-and-drop now stay within folders and work correctly even on the collapsed queue tab.
Resume Broadcast now restores the last Bible verse it showed rather than unrelated projector content.
The Whiteboard LIVE indicator now follows the correct slide after you reorder slides.
An emptied announcement transition time can no longer make the slideshow flicker rapidly, and corrupted saved data no longer crashes the Bible or Songs tabs.

Main window fullscreen is now true borderless fullscreen — taskbar and window chrome are hidden without entering native fullscreen mode, so the projector window keeps its locked fullscreen state on its own display.
F11 and the sidebar fullscreen toggle now restore your previous window size (or maximized state) cleanly when exiting fullscreen.

Fixed

Toggling fullscreen on the main window no longer kicks the projector out of fullscreen when a verse is already being projected.

Right-click the file → Extract All… → any folder you like.

Run the installer

Double-click Crown Cast Setup.exe. If Windows shows a prompt: More info → Run anyway (unsigned, but safe).
